Mi ĵus aĉetis Esperantlingvajn librojn

Mi revenis al Anglio je la jarfino 2006. Antaŭe, mi loĝis en Birmo, kie mi instruis la anglan lingvon dum almenaŭ dek jaroj. Kiam mi tiun landon forlasis, mi ankaŭ forlasis ĉiujn librojn, CD-ojn kaj DVD-ojn -- inkluzive multajn esperantlingvajn librojn. Mi tion ege bedaŭras, sed nenion povas fari por retrovi ilin.

Tial, mi decidis, ke mi devas aĉeti "novajn" esperantlingvajn librojn. Fakte, ili ne estas novaj ... mi serĉis, retumis, kaj fine aĉetis la bonegan vortaron de Prof. J. C. Wells, "Teach Yourself Esperanto Dictionary", kiu antaŭe helpis min kiel longtempa amiko.

Mi ankaŭ aĉetis la libron, per kiu mi komencis lerni Esperanton en 1967 (mi ne certas pri la ekzakta jaro). Tiu libro estas "Teach Yourself Esperanto", kaj mi intencas uzi ĝin por instrui la lingvon al mia amikino, kaj eventuale al mia filo.

I returned to England at the end of 2006. Before that, I taught English in Burma (Myanmar) for over 10 years. When I left that country, I also had to leave behind all my books, CDs, DVDs -- including loads of books in and about Esperanto. That makes me very sad, but there's not much I can do about it at the moment.

That's why I decided to buy some "new" Esperanto books. They're not really "new" -- I searched online and got the excellent "Teach Yourself Esperanto Dictionary", which used to be my constant companion.

I also bought the book that started me off learning Esperanto in the 60s -- "Teach Yourself Esperanto" -- and I intend to use it to teach my friend and probably my son.
