100 years - ABDE, etc.

It's been a very long time since I added anything to this blog, because basically I'm a terrible blogger. I've got so much going on at the moment that blogging is the last thing that I think of. Bad, I know, but hey! there it goes.

Anyway, just in case anyone's interested ... I've taken up the responsibility of being an examiner for the Free Esperanto Postal Course, organised by the Esperanto Association of Britain. So far, I've got two students, and one of them is doing very well indeed. I suspect he's not actually a beginner, because he's making an effort to communicate with me in Esperanto using words and constructions that haven't come up in the course so far, but to me that's commendable!

Also in the "news" is this: I've offered to do a barn dance in Esperanto for the British Congress (Brita Kongreso) next April in Eastbourne. I'd like to suggest to the organisers that the public should be invited, too, so that people can see for themselves that Esperanto really works in all sorts of different contexts.

In case you're wondering about the title, it translates thus: "100 years" = a "long time"; ABDE - the C is missing > "no C". In other words, "Long time, no see".

Jam longa tempo pasis ek de mi lastfoje skribis ion ajn ĉe ĉi tiu blogo. Fakte, mi ne blogas tre bone. En mia vivo multaj aferoj okazadas nuntempe, kaj pri blogoj mi ne ofte pensas. Tio ne estas bona situacio, tamen ... jen la vivo!

Nu ... se hazarde iu ajn interesiĝas ... mi nun helpas ekzameni la Senpagan Poŝta Kurso, kiun organizas EAB. Du studantoj aliĝis, kaj el ili unu bonege studas. Mi opinias ke li fakte ne estas komencanto, ĉar li skribas retmesaĝojn al mi, uzante frazojn kaj vortojn kiujn li ankoraŭ ne renkontis en la kurso. Tamen, laŭ mi tio estas gratulinda.

Jen alia "novaĵo": mi proponis al la organizantoj de la Brita Kongreso 2011, ke mi faru angla-stilan dancvesperon ("barn dance") por la gekongresanoj. Mi ege ŝatus, ke la publiko ĉeestu, tial ke oni vidu proprokule ke Esperanto bonege funkcias en diversaj situacioj.
